Bedrooms
The Bedrooms are delightfully decorated and furnished to the highest
specification. (Nurse Calls are incorporated to all rooms.)
The
Sensory Garden
This will incorporate roses, honeysuckle and lavender, wind chimes,
water feature and bird feeders so that the residents will have the
pleasure of sitting outside on the extended patio, in the Devon
sunshine, enjoying the fresh air and the sounds and smells of the
garden. If the weather is nice, they can of course enjoy the same
view from the lounge over the Axe Valley, where they can take
afternoon tea and enjoy the homemade cakes that are on offer every
day.
Dining
Room:
The dining room is a popular meeting and social place for the
residents.
The dining room is a popular meeting and social place for the
residents at Magnolia House and when you see the daily menu you can
understand why. Special dietary needs are of course catered for, but
the choice of good, wholesome food sourced locally and provided by
the kitchen staff means that residents look forward to their
mealtimes.
Visitors may also join residents for lunch or dinner if they wish.
A
contribution to the Resident’s fund would be requested.
Meals in Rooms:
Meals can be taken in the residents own room but residents are
encouraged to accompany the other residents in the dining room so
that they can socialise and also take some exercise, but this of
course is the resident’s choice. The menu is varied and we also
cater for special diets.
